About Michael Mancini
Michael Mancini, formerly of Arthur Murray dance studios, is the featured instructor at our upcoming dance, February 10th, 2012. Michael will be teaching a beginner
lesson in Rumba.
Michael Mancini has been taking various forms of dance since the age of 15, starting with tap, jazz and ballet. He was first trained in ballroom at a private studio in Long Island where he went on to compete at the Pro-Am level with his students. He later taught at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Buffalo, NY where again he competed at various national Arthur Murray competitions. While at Arthur Murray he, along with his student, were both selected to perform at the Dancing With The Stars national tour at the HSBC arena in Buffalo. He has taken lessons from various coaches through the Arthur Murray organization and has performed at many different venues throughout the country.
Michael's passion for ballroom dancing and his technical acumen are quite evident on the dance floor. A frequent face at the Dance Lovers of Central New York dances, he is typically seen engaging other dancers on the dance floor and sharing his interest in dance. At past times when Michael taught for us, his classes have always been attended by large groups of students.
